2011 ended with a BANG, and I ain't even exaggerating. This is my second time doing a countdown and believe me, it is such a rare opportunity and although I do not want to admit it, (but) now that is it kinda irrelevant already is that 'I used to have a curfew'.So what I'm a lame ass. My parents are super protective *snorts, coughing.. ahahaha. That was probably a lame excuse to cover up my lameness but obviously 2012 means new boundaries!!! *hopefully. :)
I'm just gonna flaunt a tiny bit about my NYE. Well, actually I should go way back to my internship days. Not many people knew this, obviously because I lack in friends and a social life but during my last week of internship with DHL, I was given a.... *wait for it.... whole week off. Technically I went to work every morning but I left like about 10am or 11am something. It was probably just almost 1 or 2 hours into work; which I also DIDN'T Do ANYTHING :D
So I spent my better half days going out, enjoying life as a sweet 20 year old something girl. AHAHAHA. yes, I'm sweet and I'm 20. Beat that, face palm.
So thats that and I went to work on Tues and Wed morning but stayed the whole day on Thursday cause it was my last day as an intern!! I received a cert of recognition, a doll, a book... farewell cards. Awwwww. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. And I took leave on Friday so I enjoyed my life to the max. BEST INTERNSHIP EVER!!
On NYE itself, I managed to convinced both my parents to take a one day trip to Malacca so off we went, on an adventure to the Straits of Malacca. Truth to be told, it was so bloody hot and sunny so screw the adventure. So glad to be on our way home. Pssst, Malacca is like super boring.
And on NYE night itself, the picture above says it all. :) Celebrated and ushered New Year at Bukit Bintang and it was one hell of an experince. Obviously because I never been to a countdown downtown in previous naive teenage years so maybe this year, 2012 countdown will be even better more awesome that 2011.
CHEERS to the Future. xoxo!!
