This is an excellent collection of short stories. Due to the variety of style and content, some of the stories are for readers, and some could be informative for writers. For potential writers, there is a great deal to be learned about style, voice, and delivery. Drama and/or curiosity builds as each story progresses, and the final outcome is often an unexpected and delightful surprise. Although each of the stories is complete in itself, one could almost wish for a more lengthly sequel to see what happens to the characters in different situations. The author's subtle sense of humor and insight into human nature is evident throughout. This is a fun read. Each of the stories can be revisited and could result in a different point of view depending on the reader's current mood. In my opinion, anyone that enjoys this collection would be advised to look at this author's other two books (The Dragon's Gold, and The Sweet Trade) currently available through Amazon. All three books are very different. They illustrate a very talented and diverse style.Product details

Thoughtful and humorous. I bought another for a friend.
These stories are by my sister. Yes, I am prejudiced about them. I recognize some of the stories although they are done with differently named characters. These stories are real and are about different experiences which may have been my family or a cousin or a friend. There is no way I can be totally objective about these stories. They hit a lot of emotions and would for anyone reading them. This author is growing and learning and becomes better with every effort.
